Questions
Is it free?
Yes. Everyone gets 3 full checks a day, with no account. The examples are always free and don’t use up your checks. Plus costs $4.99 a month if you need more. Free or paid, every report has the same verdict, evidence and advice.
What happens to what I paste?
Card, email, phone and ID numbers are masked first, so SI never sees them. The masked text is kept for 30 days so you can reopen your report, then deleted. Only you can see it unless you share it, and you can delete it any time. We don’t use it to train our own models. The Privacy page says exactly who processes it.
How accurate is it?
We haven’t published numbers yet, and we won’t pretend otherwise. Before launch we’ll publish the test set, the results and the false-alarm rate on the Method page. Until then, treat every report as a second opinion, not a ruling.
Can scammers use it to polish their messages?
They can try. We don’t publish our thresholds, results never say what to change, and repeated probing is slowed down. Hard evidence, such as a look-alike address on a brand-new domain, doesn’t move however the wording changes.
What if I’ve already clicked or paid?
Don’t panic, and act in this order: protect your accounts, call your bank or card provider, then report it. The “Already clicked” page walks you through it.
